Alright, let’s start with the obvious. Hands down, this is THE CUTEST kid I have ever seen. Yes, I said it. I made an emphatic and conclusive statement. I might not love this kid as much as my own niece and nephew, but there’s just something about that red-orange hair (with super amazing natural highlights) and those beautiful blues eyes. This little guy has STOLEN the hearts of women all over Facebook already, just wait till he gets older!

I actually went to school with Little Drake’s mommy at one time, but she got married to the man of her dreams and moved to Pennsylvania – so it’s been some time since I’ve seen her! Luckily they were able to come home for a lengthy visit and we were able to arrange a photo session:)

I’ve got to confess – that red door with a baby propped up against it?! Couldn’t get any better – period!

Laura’s Having a Baby Boy

Laura is having a baby boy and she’s EVER so excited about it! She’s always wanted a little fella – and how her dreams are coming true! In just a few short weeks he will make his appearance and I’ll be the lucky photographer that gets to capture his first few days in this world! Helms Family [Raleigh, NC]

This  past weekend I took a drive down to Raleigh to photograph one of the sweetest little girls I’ve ever met. Her mommy had an entire lemonade theme set up for us too! One thing’s for sure – this baby does not like to sit still… AT ALL. We did QUITE a bit of moving around to keep her happy, but that’s ok. Whatever it takes:)

This was my first time shooting at the JC Raulston Arboretum and I seriously LOVED it. At first when you pull up to the entrance your first thought isn’t WOW! But once you walk inside you realize just what a gem they’re hiding. There are nooks and crannies everywhere with more trees and flowers than you can imagine! If you’re looking for a place to photograph, stroll, read a good book, or just take the evening off – this is a FANTASTIC place!
